Nobody is blaming the current German population for the Nazi genocide. It was blamed on Hitler's politics and vision. Similarly while it is widely accepted that the Armenian genocide is the result of the politics of C.U.P in that period, we find it clearly unacceptable to turn back on the Armenians and to put the current Turkish and Kurdish population subject to such suspicions and into a position to defend itself. (Referring to acts of Committee of Union and Progress which was the de facto ruler of Ottoman Empire during events of mass killings and deportations of Armenians.)
When the prosecutors are calling former chief of the General Staff of Turkey and hundreds of army generals as "terrorists" nobody is not offended but when I call him (current chief of General Staff) corporal he gets offended. (Referring to the detentions of many army generals for the alleged "Sledgehammer" coup plot trial; On the reaction for calling Necdet Özel (chief of GS) as a "only a corporal in our eyes" for his comments about education in Kurdish language.)
A coalition may be formed or not but peace is urgent. Mr Davutoglu, we are not requesting this from you. You are obliged to do it.
Erdogan is the biggest obstacle for the peace process to continue. But he will not rule this country forever. I am absolutely sure the process will be revived.
No matter how much they attack, without fuelling hatred and anger against each other, we will cultivate brotherhood and live in peace in this country.
The negotiations between Turkey and the PKK will eventually restart, you can't keep fighting forever, i can't name the exact date but I think parties will return to the peace process in the medium term.
The package destroys not just the peace process but all the peace dynamics in society. This is a bid to crush opposition.
